Workplace accommodation
• An assessment that will provide guidance and support to employees with medical needs that are not totally disabling but may require accommodation based on a medical requirement.
Intermittent absence
• When an employee has been absent intermittently for reasons identified by the employee as being medical in nature, the employer may wish to have an assessment completed to identify if future absences may be expected and/or if workplace accommodations may be necessary to reduce the employee’s absences.
Stand-alone ergonomic assessment
• An on-site assessment intended to optimize the physical environment of an employee’s workspace. The assessment will identify any possible biomechanical risk factors and provide the employee with education on workstation set up and mechanics.
