Coordination of Benefits : As the plan member your claims should always be processed through your benefit plan first. Claims for your spouse and dependent children must be processed through your spouse's plan before submitting any claims under this program.

Changing your dependant's information
To make changes to your dependant's name, or to add or remove dependants, please contact your plan administrator.
Over-Age Student Coverage
To ensure coverage for an over-age dependant, you must complete the 'Request for Over-Age Dependant Coverage' form. It can be found on the administration forms page
Health Care Spending Account
If your plan follows the Canadian Income Tax Act guidelines for Health Care Spending Account (HCSA), the following expanded definition of eligible dependants applies to your HCSA:
- Plan member
- Plan member's spouse
- Parent, grandparent, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, niece or nephew of the plan member or plan member's spouse, as long as that person: was a resident of Canada at any time in the year, and was dependant on the plan member's support at any time in the year
- The child or grandchild of the plan member or plan member's spouse, as long as that person was dependant on the plan member's support at any time in the year.
