SPEAKERS:

Louise Clements

President, MacLaren MRM Toronto

As our industry has evolved over the past two decades, Louise has been one those rare leaders who has consistently and enthusiastically steered into a future full of new possibilities. That’s why she’s dedicated to building an MRM Toronto that lives its “art + copy + code” credo across every medium – with creativity that embraces and is energized by technology.

A digital pioneer, Louise has worked in the space since 1996, when she joined AOL in New York. She launched AOL’s interactive marketing department in Canada, and managed GM’s first ad buy on AOL Canada. She was closely involved in the evolution of digital marketing away from static banners to more dynamic and engaging forms like video and vokens.

Later, as a member of Facebook’s global sales management team, and their founding Head of Sales in Canada, Louise learned how to use the platform to create valuable, profitable marketing solutions for brands, and has subsequently built and managed successful strategies across the entire social landscape. At Rogers Media, one of Canada’s largest media companies, she led the digital strategic development, revenue, and audience growth for over 80 consumer brands.

Louise also passionately believes in giving back to her community. She’s active on many industry boards in Canada, as well as sitting on the Board of Directors for Earth Rangers, and advising the board of Look Good Feel Better.
